The ÖBf emergency app was developed specifically for ÖBf employees, tailored to their requirements and intended for their use.The apps area of ​​application is Austria and the application is available to download free of charge.The ÖBf emergency app makes it possible to make an emergency call to a rescue organization in emergency situations.
The current location is displayed - if there is a GPS signal and map material.
If necessary, this can be changed by clicking on “Change accident location”, e.g.
if the current location differs from the accident location or a suitable location for a helicopter landing needs to be specified.Since there is often no internet reception in the area, an excerpt from the basemap (map of Austria) can be downloaded in the settings.
