The ÖBf emergency app was developed specifically for ÖBf employees, tailored to their requirements and intended for their use.The apps area of application is Austria and the application is available to download free of charge.The ÖBf emergency app makes it possible to make an emergency call to a rescue organization in emergency situations. The current location is displayed - if there is a GPS signal and map material. If necessary, this can be changed by clicking on “Change accident location”, e.g. if the current location differs from the accident location or a suitable location for a helicopter landing needs to be specified.Since there is often no internet reception in the area, an excerpt from the basemap (map of Austria) can be downloaded in the settings.
